Role Purpose
The
Head – Solutions
will lead end-to-end solutioning for Enterprise clients across NIIT’s business. The role is responsible for designing
training-led, project-based, and capability-building solutions
aligned to business transformation needs, while closely partnering with Sales, Delivery, Product, and Faculty teams to drive large deal wins and long-term client value.
Key Responsibilities
1.Solutioning & Pre-Sales Leadership
Own
end-to-end solution design
for various opportunities (Banks, NBFCs, FinTech’s, Insurance, retail, large and mid-size firms).
Lead
pre-sales engagements , RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and client presentations.
Design
custom learning, skilling, reskilling, and transformation solutions
including:
Digital & Technology, Banking, Training Domain-led programs, Project-based learning, academies, and capability frameworks.
Ensure solutions are
commercially viable , scalable, and aligned to NIIT’s delivery strengths.
2.Domain & Consulting Expertise
•Act as a
service-based domain advisor
to internal teams and enterprise clients.
•Translate business challenges into
capability-building and learning interventions .
•Stay updated on
regulatory changes, digital trends, and skill demand
within the Business Unit.
•Support consulting-led conversations beyond training were required.
3.Stakeholder & Client Management
•Engage with
senior stakeholders
(CXOs, CHROs, CTOs, COOs, L&D Heads).
•Build credibility as a
trusted solution partner , not just a training vendor.
•Support Sales leadership in
strategic account planning and large deal pursuits .
•Handle solution governance during transition from pre-sales to delivery.
4.Internal Collaboration & Enablement
•Work closely with
Sales, Delivery, Product, Curriculum, and Faculty teams .
•Build reusable
solution frameworks, decks, case studies, and pricing models .
•Enable Sales teams through
solution training and Banking, and other large enterprises-specific playbooks .
•Mentor and guide solution architects / pre-sales team members.
5.Delivery Oversight & Quality Assurance
•Ensure smooth
handover from solutioning to delivery
with clear scope and success metrics.
•Provide oversight to ensure solutions delivered are aligned to client expectations.
•Participate in
reviews, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives .
Key Skills & Competencies
Functional Skills
•Strong experience in
solutioning, pre-sales, or consulting in a large organization.
•Deep understanding of
L&D / Training / Digital Skilling ecosystem
•Experience in
large enterprise BFSI deals.
•Expertise in
program design, academies, and workforce transformation
Behavioral & Leadership Skills
•Strong
stakeholder management and executive presence
•Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
•Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
•Ability to work in
matrixed, fast-paced environments
Education & Experience
•MBA / PGDM / Engineering / equivalent qualification
• 12–18+ years
of overall experience
•Minimum
6–8 years
in business focused solutioning, consulting, or pre-sales roles
•Prior exposure to
L&D, IT services, consulting firms, or BFSI enterprises
preferred
