SDET Automation Engineer

Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

SDET - Automation Engineer

with

3 - 7 years of experience

in QA and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python-based automation frameworks, UI & API testing, and experience working in Linux-based CI/CD environments. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.

Core Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts using Python. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and gaps. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Perform root cause analysis and debugging in Linux-based environments. Participate in test planning, test case design, and release validation activities. Track and manage defects using standard defect tracking tools. Continuously improve automation coverage, performance, and reliability.

Must-Have : 3 - 7 years

of experience in QA / SDET roles. Minimum

2+ years

of hands-on experience in

Python programming

and

automation frameworks . Strong experience in UI and API automation framework development. Proficiency in

Linux commands

and debugging in CI/CD environments. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking processes. Good working knowledge of

Docker and Kubernetes . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
