Job Purpose:
The Health, Safety, and Environmental Quality Assurance (HSE QA) Head ensures compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations across corporate and operational units. This leadership role drives a culture of safety, sustainability, and quality excellence in institutional and airline catering operations.
Job Description:
A. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight :
Ensure adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations, including FSSAI, HACCP, ISO standards, and HALAL compliance. Develop and maintain HSE policies and SOPs. Lead internal and external audits.
B. Management:
Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for catering operations. Implement risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans. Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions.
C. Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety across all units. Monitor CCP and OPRP records as per HACCP and ISO standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
D. Training & Development:
Design and deliver HSE and food safety training programs and conduct workshops
E. Leadership & Collaboration:
Provide strategic directions to QA and HSE teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the organization in airline review meetings and regulatory forums.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Master’s degree in microbiology, Food Science, or Environmental Health.
Experience: 20-25 years in Quality Assurance/HSE, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role in food production, air catering, or hospitality.
Strong knowledge of international aviation catering standards and regulatory compliance.
Certifications: HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI compliance, HALAL certification.
Skills:
Strong leadership, audit management, vendor quality control, and ability to manage change in dynamic environments.

In-depth knowledge of global food safety regulations.

Additional Requirement:
Extensive Travel: Frequent travel across all operational units in India to ensure compliance and drive quality initiatives.
