Senior Odoo Functional Consultant – Accounting & Inventory Reconciliation (ERP Migration Cleanup)

Job Summary

Post Odoo implementation, we are enhancing integration between Accounting, Inventory, and Purchase/Sales modules to ensure accurate valuation and margin reporting.

We are looking for a dedicated Odoo Functional Consultant to take ownership of end-to-end cleanup and stabilization, and deliver reliable reporting across Accounting + Inventory + Purchase/Sales modules.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Vendor Bill Closure

- Review and resolve open purchase invoices and unmatched transactions from the migration period. - Reconcile GRNI / Stock Interim accounts and ensure accurate postings. - Fix journal entry errors impacting stock valuation, COGS, and payables. - Support month-end closing and audit-ready corrections.

Inventory & Costing Accuracy

- Audit and correct PO → GRN → Vendor Bill match flow. - Resolve negative stock and stock move errors affecting valuation layers. - Ensure alignment between inventory valuation reports and the general ledger.

Margin & Commission Reporting

- Ensure correct product costing and margin reports. - Enable commission calculations based on sales margin. - Provide a reconciliation summary of “before vs after” corrections.

Process Stabilization

- Recommend Odoo process controls and settings to avoid repeat issues. - Train staff (accounts/store/sales) on correct workflow and responsibilities.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in Odoo Functional Consulting, especially in Accounting + Inventory integration. - Proficient in Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, and Sales modules. - Hands-on understanding of: - GRNI / Stock Interim reconciliation - Odoo valuation layers & COGS - PO → Receipt → Bill workflows - Ability to fix migration issues without breaking audit trail. - Strong reporting and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience in ERP migration cleanup (e.g., Focus, Tally, SAP → Odoo) - Familiarity with GCC workflows, including VAT, multi-warehouse operations. - Ability to collaborate with developers if custom modules are involved.

Deliverables / Success Criteria

- Close all pending vendor bill issues from migration. - Fully reconciled GRNI / Stock Interim accounts with report. - Inventory valuation matching accounting reports. - Sales margin output ready for commission rules. - SOP/checklist to maintain process accuracy moving forward.
