Responsibilities & Skills
We are looking for a visionary GenAI Agentic AI Architect/Director to lead the design of next‑generation, AI‑powered DevOps and infrastructure platforms. This role blends into deep DevOps and platform engineering expertise with cutting‑edge Generative AI and agentic‑automation architectures.
You will be responsible to design and operationalize GenAI‑powered systems, intelligent automation frameworks, and agentic AI workflows that radically elevate software development productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency. You will develop and own AI‑powered CI/CD pipelines, autonomous engineering agents, developer copilots, and the integration of LLMs into end‑to‑end software delivery workflows.
The role requires deep technical expertise in GenAI, LLMs, autonomous agents, platform engineering, shared AI Infrastructure, and large‑scale automation.
This is a strategic, hands‑on architecture role that influences engineering culture, technical standards, and automation strategy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive the enterprise‑wide GenAI & Agentic AI strategy for engineering and DevOps organizations.
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for safe and effective AI integration.
- Partner with engineering, platform, and security leaders to build a unified AI automation ecosystem.
2. AI‑Powered Engineering Transformation
- Architect and implement AI‑powered CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and predictive deployment systems.
- Build autonomous agent frameworks for:
- Intelligent code generation
- Automated remediation
- Incident response
- Change management
- Release orchestration
- Integrate LLMs into engineering workflows to enhance developer experience and accelerate feature delivery.
3. Platform Engineering & Tooling
- Lead development of internal GenAI platform services, foundational models, and reusable AI components.
- Build self‑service tools enabling teams to easily adopt AI‑driven automation and agentic workflows.
- Partner with DevOps/SRE teams to embed AI into observability, reliability engineering, and infrastructure automation.
4. Operational Excellence
- Establish measurable KPIs for AI‑driven productivity, operational efficiency, deployment velocity, and platform stability.
- Ensure scalability, security, and governance for AI models and automated systems.
- Drive continuous improvement through data, analytics, and AI‑based insights.
5. Leadership & Team Building
- Lead cross‑functional teams of AI engineers, DevOps, and platform specialists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and responsible AI adoption.
- Coach teams to develop deep expertise in LLMs, MLOps, and agentic architectures.
Required Qualifications
- 15–20+ years in DevOps, Jenkins, AI/ML platforms, GenAI, Agentic AI infrastructure.
- 3–5+ years leading teams or organizations focused on GenAI, DevOps automation, or platform engineering.
- Proven expertise in:
- GenAI, LLMs, multi‑agent systems
- Building AI‑driven pipelines and autonomous workflows
- CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab, ArgoCD, Perforce)
- Python, TypeScript, or other AI‑friendly languages
- Observability & AIOps systems
- Strong understanding of responsible AI, security, governance, and model lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high‑impact AI transformation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Haystack)
- AI copilots and developer productivity toolchains
- AIOps, predictive analytics, and self‑healing systems
- High‑scale distributed systems
