Technical Project Manager – Java, PSU Banking Domain Location: Navi Mumbai (Seawoods) /Chennai — Work from office Education: BE, B Tech, MCA or equivalent (valid degree required) Role Overview The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage enterprise-level projects within the PSU banking domain, leveraging deep expertise in Java technologies and hands-on experience in public sector banking environments. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of driving project success, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering collaborative team dynamics. Key Duties & Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end project management for multiple concurrent banking technology initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope. Lead technical teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve project goals and maintain productivity. Prioritize tasks and features based on business requirements, stakeholder input, and resource availability. Coordinate with public sector bank clients to understand project needs, deliver solutions, and maintain strong working relationships. Develop and deploy enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and robustness. Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Implement Agile-Scrum methodologies for iterative development, continuous integration, and rapid delivery of features. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and banking best practices throughout all phases of project execution. Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders and senior management. Resolve technical issues, mitigate project risks, and proactively address potential bottlenecks. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 15 years of experience in the banking domain, with exposure to various portfolios and project types. Expertise in Java-J2EE, Java Web Services, RESTful APIs, and database management. Proficient in Spring Boot, Microservices design, and Java application deployment. Strong background in Agile-Scrum project management methodologies. Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering complex technical projects within public sector banks. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work on-site at Navi Mumbai (Seawoods) location. Valid technical degree (BE, B Tech, MCA, or equivalent). Additional Responsibilities Facilitate technical training and knowledge sharing sessions for team members. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and innovation within the organization. Support pre-sales activities, including client presentations and proposal development, as needed.
