Experience: 12 – 15 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Capital Market Consultant with strong expertise in capital markets domain and hands-on experience in Data Analysis, SQL, and Data Modeling. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to support capital market initiatives, analyze financial data, and contribute to system and process improvements.

Candidates must have strong exposure to data-driven projects and experience interfacing with technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary point of contact for all capital market-related initiatives and queries. - Provide expert guidance on capital market instruments including:

Equities

Fixed Income

Derivatives

Structured Products

- Collaborate with business, technology, and compliance teams to design and implement capital market solutions. - Perform data analysis using SQL and analytical tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities. - Support development of:

Business Requirements Documents (BRD)

Functional Specifications: Test Cases

Analyze trading lifecycle, settlement, and operational workflows.

- Participate in risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance initiatives. - Assist in troubleshooting capital market systems and transaction issues. - Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and support internal teams. - Stay current with capital market trends, regulations, and technology advancements.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have):

- Strong experience in Capital Markets Domain - Hands-on experience in:

SQL (advanced queries, data extraction, analysis)

Data Analysis

Data Modeling

- Experience working on data-centric projects - Ability to work closely with technology teams and stakeholders - Strong understanding of: - Trading lifecycle - Settlement processes - Market infrastructure (exchanges, clearinghouses, custodians)

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field - 12–15 years of experience in:

Capital Markets

Investment Banking

Brokerage

Financial Services

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Experience with capital market platforms and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- CFA Certification (Level 3 preferred) - Knowledge of capital market regulations such as: - SEC - FINRA - MiFID II - Dodd-Frank - Experience with financial data tools such as: - Bloomberg - Reuters - Trading platforms - Understanding of risk management frameworks - Financial modeling and quantitative analysis experience

- Strong capital markets domain expertise - Hands-on SQL and data analysis experience - Experience working with both business and technology teams - Exposure to capital market systems and data platforms - Excellent stakeholder management skills
