Overview of the role:
The Zoho Product Owner is responsible for shaping and managing the Zoho ecosystem that supports Alysian’s core business operations. Acting as the bridge between business teams and technology partners, this role ensures that Zoho modules across CRM, finance, HR, projects, and support functions are optimised to enable efficient, scalable processes. The Product Owner gathers and prioritises business requirements, translates them into clear functional specifications, and works with external developers to deliver enhancements and integrations. With a strong focus on leveraging Zoho’s out-of-the-box capabilities, the role balances quick operational improvements with a longer-term platform roadmap. Success in this position means creating a well-prioritised Zoho roadmap, improving cross-departmental efficiency, enabling reliable system integrations, and ensuring the platform evolves in line with the company’s strategy and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership
Own the roadmap for the Zoho ecosystem across all modules
Gather, prioritise, and refine business requirements from internal stakeholders
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
Challenge assumptions and ensure solutions align with company strategy and operational goals
Balance quick wins with longer term platform optimisation
Stakeholder Management
Act as the main point of contact between business teams and technology partners
Facilitate workshops to map processes and identify improvement opportunities
Manage expectations and ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomes
Communicate progress, risks, and trade offs clearly
Delivery Management
Work with external developers and contractors to deliver enhancements and integrations
Ensure requirements are clearly documented and understood before development begins
Review and validate solutions before release
Coordinate testing and user acceptance processes
Systems and Process Optimisation
Maximise use of Zoho out of the box capabilities before recommending customisation
Design scalable processes across CRM, finance, HR, projects, and support functions
Implement and optimise cross system workflows using Zoho Flow and related tools
Ensure data consistency and reporting integrity across modules
Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
Required Experience
3 to 6 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
Hands on functional experience with Zoho applications, ideally across multiple modules
Strong understanding of CRM, finance, HR, and project management processes
Experience working with external developers or system integrators
Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions
Experience in a professional services organisation is highly desirable
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability
Skills and Competencies

Strong prioritisation and decision making ability
Process oriented mindset with attention to detail
Commercial awareness and understanding of service based business models
Ability to challenge constructively and drive clarity
Comfortable working independently in a growing and evolving environment
Nice to Have
Experience with workflow automation tools such as Zoho Flow or similar
Familiarity with API integrations and system architecture concepts
Experience leading digital transformation or system optimisation initiatives
