About the Role

Are you a Python developer who loves building secure, scalable integrations at the intersection of SaaS security and automation? In this role, you will move beyond theory to code, developing the APIs, webhooks, and automation pipelines that help organizations detect, prioritize, and remediate security risks at scale.

What You’ll Do

- Build Secure Integrations: Develop robust Python-based API integrations with critical security platforms, including SSPM, SIEM, SOAR, and GRC tools. - Develop Scalable APIs: Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and webhook integrations using modern frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. - Engineer Security Automation: Create automated remediation workflows and security orchestration logic to streamline incident response and hardening. - Implement Authentication: Design and implement secure authentication flows, including OAuth2, JWT, and API key management for internal and external integrations. - Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable connectors and services to ingest, normalize, and process security telemetry data from diverse SaaS and cloud sources. - Integrate AI-Assisted Workflows: Build and integrate LLM-powered automation for intelligent issue triage, analysis, and prioritization, always keeping a human in the loop for key decisions. - Embed Security in the SDLC: Partner with product and engineering teams to define API security and SaaS integration standards, conduct security reviews, and drive post-incident hardening.

What You’ll Bring (Required)

- 3+ years of professional experience in Cyber Security, specifically combining Product Security, Python API development, and SaaS Integration. - Strong Python development experience is non-negotiable. - Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. - Solid understanding of API design principles, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. - Experience integrating with third-party APIs and building secure, reliable connectors. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Git-based CI/CD workflows. - Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

What Sets You Apart (Preferred)

- Experience integrating with SSPM, SIEM, or SOAR platforms (e.g., Material Security, Exabeam, Tines). - Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures. - A strong interest in or prior experience with AI/LLM APIs and agentic frameworks for security automation. - A foundational understanding of cyber security principles, including application and cloud security frameworks.
