Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend + AI). You will own end-to-end integration and delivery of our AI features into production—building and scaling backend services, integrating LLM/RAG pipelines, and ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability. You’ll also lead integrations and connectors, especially in healthcare (e.g., EHR/EMR workflows, data exchange, secure messaging/fax, document ingestion), working closely with product and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include systems design, writing clean and maintainable code using modern AI coding tools, and troubleshooting complex technical issues to ensure robust application performance.

Qualifications 1 or 2 years of backend software engineering experience; strong CS fundamentals and systems design Proven ability to own and ship integrations end-to-end Hands-on experience delivering AI features in production, including LLM + RAG pipelines (retrieval/embeddings/vector search , cost-latency optimization, orchestration) Good to Have - Experience building healthcare connectors/integrations (EHR/EMR workflows; HL7/FHIR familiarity is a plus) Strong engineering execution: clean code, testing, debugging, and reliability/performance mindset in a remote setting
