Egnyte is seeking a high-impact Product Manager to join our India-based engineering center and spearhead the global evolution of our External Replication and cloud data strategy.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
At Egnyte, our Order Management team is the engine that converts momentum into reality. You are the final gatekeeper between a Sales handshake and a live customer. Positioned at the high-stakes intersection of Sales and Operations, your mission is to ensure "Closed Won" isn't just a status, it's a flawless data package.
You orchestrate the transition from contract to execution, auditing every Opportunity to ensure billing, legal, and provisioning requirements are perfectly aligned. When a deal has discrepancies, you don’t just flag them; you partner with cross functional teams to fix it. By harmonizing complex deal structures with precise account setups, you eliminate downstream friction, safeguard our revenue, and ensure our deployment and finance teams hit the ground running from day one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategic Deal Audit & Data Integrity:Meticulously review incoming Sales Opportunities to ensure 100% compliance across contracts, SKUs, and deployment prerequisites. You serve as the "Data Integrity Guard," proactively identifying and fixing system discrepancies to prevent billing errors or downstream delays before they occur.
Final "Green Light" Authority: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for the "Closed Won" transition. You validate downstream triggers—from license provisioning to automated invoicing—is configured to execute flawlessly.
Cross-Functional Bridge & Consultant: Serve as a proactive partner to Sales and Operations when deals are complex. Rather than simply rejecting errors, you consult with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, gather missing documentation, and align deal structures with operational standards.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of relevant experience in Order Management, Finance, Deal Desk, Sales Operations, a must
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and data validation) a plus
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce; experience with Salesforce Billing is preferred, other ERP systems a plus
Detail-Obsessed with Fixer Mentality: You’re the person who spots the inconsistency and enjoys solving the puzzle
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Clear communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
