About Organisation:
Mahila Housing Trust (MHT) was founded in 1994 based out of Ahmedabad with the mission of building housing and living environments for poor women and girls. MHT’s programs address basic civic and housing infrastructure needs, including water, sanitation, drainage, solid waste management, roads, electricity/energy, low-income housing, and secured land tenure. MHT facilitates access to information along with financial, legal, and technical services in housing, water, sanitation, and energy sectors with a focus on improving the quality of lives and livelihoods of urban poor women and girls. As of date, it is present in 1000+ slums across various cities of India.
Main Responsibilities:
· Conduct regular field visits to document the processes implemented at the field level.
· Support the internal team in monitoring and evaluation of the project.
· Support the internal implementation team in establishing standard documentation templates and styles.
· Provide training to the internal team on proper documentation process and collecting relevant information from the field.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly descriptive reports per the project requirement.
· Documentation of the case studies, standard operating procedures, good practices, and processes adopted challenges and success stories.
· Attend and report on relevant meetings, conferences and trainings.
· Assist Senior Management team in preparing project proposals
· Undertake field visits to support project M & E task and identify gaps and provide solutions
· Perform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Qualification:
· Post Graduate in English/Mass Communication/Rural Development/Social Work/ Social Sciences.
· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to candidates having field experience and working with communities.
· Fluency in English and Hindi
· Knowledge of MS word and PowerPoint
· Good interpersonal communication skills
Salary:
· Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications & experience of the candidate.
