Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as Executive / Sr. Executive – Shares Transfer & Demat Operations. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in processing physical share transfers and converting them into dematerialized (Demat) form. This role involves close coordination with RTAs, depositories (NSDL/CDSL), and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and seamless execution of all share-related operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Handle end-to-end processing of physical share transfer requests, including scrutiny, validation, and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
*Undertake field work, including physical visits and documentation collection related to transfer and demat activities.
*Coordinate with Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) for timely processing of share transfer and dematerialization requests.
*Manage dematerialization and rematerialization processes through NSDL/CDSL depositories.
*Maintain accurate records of investor holdings, transfer applications, dispatch details, and demat transactions.
*Address and resolve shareholder queries and issues related to transfer ownership or demat rejections.
*Ensure strict adherence to SEBI guidelines, Companies Act provisions, and internal compliance protocols.
*Liaise with Company Secretaries and legal teams for validation and execution of legal documents pertaining to share transfers.
*Prepare and submit periodic reports and MIS on shareholding patterns, transfer statuses, and pending cases.
Eligibility Criteria:
*Graduate in Commerce/Finance; candidates with an MBA will be preferred.
*1-3 years of relevant experience in share transfer and demat operations.
*Proficient in working with NSDL/CDSL platforms and a solid understanding of SEBI regulations.
*Familiarity with RTA software (e.g., Karvy, Link Intime, Cameo, etc.).
*Strong skills in documentation, record keeping, and compliance.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Skills:
*Knowledge of Corporate Actions such as Bonus, Split, and Transmission.
*Experience in handling investor grievances via the SEBI SCORES portal.
*High attention to detail and accuracy.
*Ability to multi-task and deliver within strict deadlines.
Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
