Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced FPGA II design engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RTL design using VHDL and hands-on experience with FPGA development, particularly using Xilinx Vivado. This role involves designing, implementing, and debugging complex FPGA-based systems for advanced defence applications, working collaboratively across hardware, software, and system teams.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement RTL code using VHDL to meet system requirements Develop, simulate, and debug FPGA designs using Xilinx Vivado tools Perform timing analysis, create FPGA constraints (XDC files), and achieve timing closure Implement digital logic, DSP blocks, and embedded interfaces with precision Work with communication protocols such as Ethernet for system integration Support verification activities; familiarity with UVM is preferred Conduct hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab instruments Develop Python scripts for automation, testing, and verification tasks Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and system engineering

Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) required; Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech) is preferred Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in FPGA design and development Strong proficiency in VHDL and RTL design methodologies Solid understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture principles Hands-on experience with Xilinx Vivado design suite Expertise in timing analysis, constraint creation, and timing closure for FPGA designs Familiarity with DSP concepts, embedded systems, and Ethernet communication protocols Proven experience in hardware debugging and lab testing environments Good communication skills and a strong problem-solving mindset What We Offer: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge defence technology projects Collaborative and innovative work environment Competitive compensation and benefits Contribution to national defence and security initiatives
