Role Overview
The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring NGO programs and activities. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, mobilizing resources, managing volunteers, and ensuring smooth execution of initiatives in line with the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact between beneficiaries, community members, volunteers, & NGO team
- Support in mobilizing community participation & building relationships with local stakeholders
- Assist in preparing program reports, documentation, and presentations for donors & Trustees
- Maintain accurate records of activities, beneficiaries, and outcomes
- Coordinate and implement project activities as per the program plan and timelines
- Provide logistical and administrative support for events, workshops, and field visits
- Monitor progress of projects, identify challenges, and escalate issues when required
- Contribute to fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership-building efforts
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements
- Manage social media handles and support marketing activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Social Work, Development Studies, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, or NGO sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Good organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic reporting
- Passion for social causes and commitment to the NGO’s mission
- Fluency in English and Malayalam is required
