Job Responsibilities:
Ideation
- Suggest and implement campaign ideas, contributing innovative concepts that support branding, lead generation, and audience engagement - particularly within the recruitment and staffing landscape.
- Identify and integrate emerging recruitment and talent-industry trends into content strategies.
- Ensure that implemented concepts/ideas meet/exceed predefined engagement or conversion goals.
Content Creation, Editing, and Reviewing
- Create and/or review long-form content pieces (whitepapers, case studies, e-books, etc.).
- Create and/or review medium-form and short-form content pieces (brochures, video scripts, conference-related materials, PPTs, social media copies & captions, e-mailers, e-mail drip campaigns, etc.).
- Optimise content for search engine optimisation (SEO) by conducting keyword research, and implement best practices to improve organic visibility & drive traffic on the company's website and social media platforms.
- Achieve on-time delivery of all content pieces as per mutually agreed timelines.
Research and Trend Awareness
- Attend online webinars, review trend analysis reports, conduct competitive analysis, and share key takeaways with the team to integrate insights into content strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research using online sources, industry reports, expert interviews, and internal discussions to ensure alignment with brand objectives and audience preferences.
- Quickly adapt to new briefs, industries, or formats, applying learnings effectively across content pieces.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mainly Brand Management, Design, and Digital Marketing, to develop cohesive, high-impact content strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Demonstrate openness to feedback, incorporating input positively to continuously refine content quality, tone, and effectiveness.
Qualifications, Experience, and Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related discipline
- 3-3.5 years of professional content writing experience in the recruitment and staffing industry or a corporate environment, supported by a strong portfolio
- Exceptional writing and research capabilities
- Strong proofreading skills with familiarity in standard style guides
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving industries and diverse content formats
- Ability to work independently as well as with various teams to meet deadlines
- Open and receptive to feedback, with a positive and solution-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented, creative, and having a strong understanding of design and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in content writing and editing tools
- Social media or content marketing experience is an added advantage
