Cost Estimation Engineer

to join our team, specializing in

high-precision machining and aerospace-grade components . The role involves evaluating product drawings, defining manufacturing processes, and preparing accurate cost estimates for machining, raw materials, and special processes. Key Responsibilities: Interpret product drawings and specifications to define manufacturing requirements. Evaluate tolerances, fit, and function to decide optimal processes. Estimate costs for CNC machining (3/4/5-axis), turning, turnmill, and general machining. Prepare cost analysis for special processes such as CCA, heat treatment, anodizing, painting, etc. Identify cost-effective machining sequences and material nesting strategies for optimization. Work with aerospace-grade materials (Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel). Prepare detailed cost estimates for RFQs including raw materials, machining, special processes, and outsourcing. Use software tools like AutoCAD, CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and MS Excel for estimation and reporting. Collaborate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure thorough cost analyses and pricing strategies. Must-Have Skills: Hands-on experience in

precision machining cost estimation . Strong

mechanical engineering knowledge

and ability to read technical drawings. Experience in

CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machining . Knowledge of

special processes and aerospace materials . Proficiency in

CAD software

(AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks). Excellent skills in

MS Excel

for costing and reporting. Experience preparing

RFQs and detailed cost estimates .
