Basic Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States’ largest recycler and largest

manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking motivated and detail-oriented applicants for entry-level estimator or estimator with some experience positions at our business unit located in Noida, UP. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced Estimators and contribute to preparing accurate cost estimates for steel pole structures used in transmission and distribution projects. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop an understanding of shop practices, utility industry standards, and customer specifications. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Towers & Structures vision and values - Build knowledge of the utility pole and steel structure industry - Learn and understand the NTS Division strategy and how estimating contributes to it - Develop an understanding of relevant codes and standards, including ASCE 48, RUS 1724E, and similar references - Assist in reviewing customer specifications, drawings, and RFQs to contribute to detailed cost estimates of poles, structures, and accessories - Independently complete estimates for simple projects with minimal assistance - Assist with estimating projects from initial bid through pre-award phases - Learn and support the process of working collaboratively with sales staff to ensure accurate and complete estimates are prepared at bid time - Contribute to maintaining the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal customers. - Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and

housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Able to communicate in English - Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Draughtsman certificate, Polytechnic Diploma, Senior Secondary Education, or equivalent - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

- Two-year technical degree or certification in sales, estimating, and/or project management - B.Tech or B.E. in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering - One or more years experience in the utility structure manufacturing industry - One or more years experience with Estimating Software (MS PowerApps, Tekla PowerFab, FabTrol, etc.) and material take-offs for fabricated steel structures (plate, pipe, angles, connections, etc.) and associated processes (welding, galvanizing, assembly)
