About the Role
This role is not about tactical execution alone- it’s about strategic positioning, brand elevation, and narrative coherence. You will:
Lead the development and execution of a unified marketing strategy that articulates Open Venture’s unique identity.
Translate our thesis, founder stories, and ecosystem initiatives into compelling narratives across channels.
Drive demand generation, community engagement, and brand awareness with measurable impact.
Partner closely with leadership, portfolio founders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resonance.
Elevate our voice within the broader startup and investment community through thoughtful content, events, and partnerships.
What You Will Do
1. Strategic Leadership
Define and own the marketing roadmap in alignment with business and investment priorities.
Position Open Venture as a distinctive, trusted, and high-impact partner for founders and operators.
Forecast and measure performance, using data to refine strategy.
2. Content & Narrative
Develop thoughtful, insight-driven content that reflects our philosophy and drives engagement.
Lead the production of thought leadership, case studies, newsletters, and social media narratives with precision and clarity.
Shape messaging for external communication, partner collaterals, and public platforms.
3. Community & Demand
Build and nurture communities across founder cohorts, partners, and ecosystem advisors.
Architect campaigns and initiatives that deepen connection and drive meaningful engagement.
Partner with events, forums, and digital spaces that matter to founders and operators.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with investment, portfolio support, and operations teams to ensure consistency in narrative and positioning.
Support founders in telling their stories authentically and strategically.

- 4+ years experience in strategic marketing, brand development, or growth roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with content strategy, demand generation, and community building.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
