Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 2–3 years of hands‑on expertise in managing daily accounting operations, reconciliations, taxation, and reporting. The ideal candidate should be strong in financial accuracy, compliance, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting Operations Maintain day‑to‑day books of accounts (Sales, Purchase, Cash, Bank, Journal). Ensure timely posting of entries and accuracy of ledgers. 2. Reconciliations Prepare and review

bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations . Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly. 3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process invoices, vendor payments, and credit notes. Prepare customer invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up for collections. Monitor ageing reports and escalate overdue items. 4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Assist in preparation and filing of

GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) . Handle

TDS deductions, payments, and returns

(24Q, 26Q). Support year‑end statutory compliance and audit documentation. 5. Month-End Closing Activities Assist in accruals, provisions, and preparation of MIS reports. Support in finalization of monthly and annual financial statements. 6. Audit Support Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and statutory audits. Coordinate with auditors and resolve queries. 7. Payroll & Expense Management (as applicable) Support payroll calculations and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT). Review employee reimbursements and ensure policy compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)

Technical Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements. Hands‑on experience with

Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP . Good Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas). Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic financial reporting.

Soft Skills Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Analytical and problem‑solving mindset High level of integrity and confidentiality
