Job Title: Senior SQL Developer

Desired Skills & Competencies: Who You Are The Senior SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and high-performing SQL databases and applications. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integrity of database systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

You will have: At least 8 years of experience in SQL development Proven experience in working with MS SQL Server Expertise in writing & optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

What You Will Do Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases, including schema design, table structures, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for performance, efficiency, and data retrieval. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across multiple database environments. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning strategies. Collaborate with Architects, Business analysts and other developers to understand data requirements and implement appropriate database solutions. Review database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions and strategies. Conduct code reviews, enforce database standards, and ensure adherence to best practices. Provide technical guidance and support to developers and support team. Stay updated with new database technologies and trends and recommend improvements.
