Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Role & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end project delivery (planning ➜ execution ➜ delivery ➜ closure) for software and integration initiatives, ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and budget targets are met. - Manage stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and operations—facilitate requirements, align priorities, and translate business needs into actionable delivery plans. - Run Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and/or Waterfall milestones depending on project methodology; enforce sprint discipline and delivery cadences. - Maintain and update project artefacts: schedules (MS Project/JIRA), risk & issue logs, RAID registers, status reports, and executive-level dashboards. - Drive cross-functional coordination with onshore clients and offshore development teams to remove blockers, mitigate risks, and ensure timely deployments. - Control project budgets, validate change requests, and uphold quality standards through acceptance criteria, UAT coordination, and release gating.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- 5+ years of proven experience managing IT or software delivery projects (end-to-end) in a client-facing, on-site capacity in India. - Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies; adept at using JIRA and Confluence for backlog and delivery management. - Strong stakeholder-management, communication, and facilitation skills; proven ability to work with product owners, engineering leads, and business sponsors. - Practical skills in project scheduling (MS Project / Excel), risk & issue management, and reporting to senior leadership. - Experience coordinating distributed teams (onshore/offshore) and managing deployments across environments. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent technical background.

Preferred

- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred. - Experience in SaaS, integrations (APIs), or enterprise platform implementations. - Exposure to financial controls, budget forecasting, and vendor management.
