Position: Director – Professor Level (Port, Terminal Management & Logistics)

Location: Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Kiwale, Pune

Symbiosis Skills & Professional University invites applications from accomplished academic and industry leaders to join our School of Port, Terminal Management & Logistics. We are seeking passionate educators and researchers committed to excellence, innovation, and shaping the next generation of logistics professionals.

Educational Qualifications:

For Professor, the Ph.D. must have been completed before 2017 or 2018.Minimum 10 research papers published in Scopus / Web of Science–indexed journals.

Minimum 1 student guided for Phd .

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry. - At least 5 years as academic, administrative, and strategic leadership - Strong industry connections in port, shipping, or logistics sectors. - Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and interdisciplinary program management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for Port and Logistics programs. - Design and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and research in port operations, terminal management, and supply chain logistics. - Build and strengthen industry partnerships to align programs with emerging trends and employability goals. - Supervise and promote research projects and publications aligned with institutional priorities. - Drive innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability in maritime logistics education.
