Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant with strong hands-on experience in system customization, extension development, and functional configuration. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in AL development, .NET technologies, and proven experience delivering end-to-end bank integration projects. The role requires strong technical and functional capabilities, along with the ability to work directly with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities Develop, customize, and enhance Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL, VS Code, and extensions. Build integrations with external systems, including bank portals, using APIs, middleware, and standard communication protocols. Perform technical design, development, debugging, and deployment of new features and extensions. Leverage .NET skills for custom APIs, integration logic, external applications, or automation workflows. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of Business Central environments. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, release notes, and deployment artifacts.

Functional Responsibilities Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyse business processes and requirements. Configure Business Central functional modules such as: Finance Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank Reconciliation General Ledger Reporting Handle end-to-end banking integration scenarios, including: Payment file generation Bank statement import Automated reconciliation API-based two-way connectivity Support data migration activities, UAT, and go-live planning. Provide user training, business support, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Competencies 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central. Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, AL development, extensions (V2), and VS Code. Proven experience implementing and delivering bank integrations. Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and secure authentication. Strong .NET development background for custom services and integration solutions. Solid functional understanding of financial and operational processes within BC. Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and propose optimal solutions. Strong communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certification in Business Central (MB-800 or equivalent). Experience in cloud deployments (Business Central online / Azure). Knowledge of Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Business Central deployments.
