The Role: Brand & Marketing Manager
This role sits at the
core of FundooLabs’ growth journey
. You will be the
custodian of the FundooLabs brand
—responsible for how the brand looks, sounds, and feels everywhere it appears:
Online and offline
On shelves and on screens
In homes and parents’ minds
You will work closely with the
Founder and leadership team
, translating vision into world‑class brand communication.
Who We’re Looking For
Experience
5–8 years of experience in
brand marketing / brand communication
Experience with
consumer brands (D2C / FMCG / Kids preferred)
Mindset
Thinks like a
brand owner
Strong storytelling instinct
Obsessed with clarity, quality, and consistency

“This doesn’t feel on brand. Let’s fix it.”

Brand Story & Narrative
Shape and evolve the
FundooLabs brand story

Build messaging that connects with kids, parents, retailers, partners, and global audiences
Brand Consistency & Quality Control
Act as the
final brand gatekeeper
Ensure consistency across:
Website & D2C platforms
Amazon / Flipkart / quick‑commerce listings
Social media, campaigns, and launches
Packaging, brochures, catalogues, and expo material
Create, maintain, and evolve the
FundooLabs Brand Playbook
Content Direction & Campaign Leadership
Decide
what we say, why we say it, and how we say it
Guide in‑house designers and content creators
Plan and lead brand‑first campaigns and product launches
Focus on building
brand recall and trust
, not just reach or impressions
Team & Partner Collaboration
Work closely with:
In‑house graphic designers
In‑house content creators / copywriters
Freelance photographers, videographers, and agencies
Elevate output quality through strong briefs, feedback, and direction
Founder & Leadership Branding
Support Founder storytelling (LinkedIn, PR narratives, presentations)
Help articulate milestones, innovations, and long‑term brand vision

This role requires a
balanced blend of brand thinking, communication excellence, and execution leadership

Brand Strategy & Thinking
Ability to define and articulate
brand positioning, narrative, and personality
Strong understanding of
consumer psychology
(especially parents & children)
Experience building or evolving
brand frameworks
(tone, voice, messaging)
Sharp judgement to identify on‑brand vs off‑brand communication
✍️ Communication & Storytelling
Excellent written communication skills (English mandatory;
Hinglish a plus)
Ability to simplify
science and learning concepts
into engaging stories
Experience writing or reviewing:
Brand messaging
Campaign narratives
Product descriptions
Packaging copy
Creative Direction & Aesthetic Sense
Strong eye for
visual consistency and quality
Ability to guide designers with clear briefs and constructive feedback
Understanding of layouts, typography, color discipline, and packaging aesthetics
(Design execution is NOT required—judgement is.)
Campaign & Content Planning
Experience planning brand‑led campaigns and launches
Ability to define content themes, messaging hierarchy, and channel‑wise communication
Comfortable working across social, website, marketplaces, and offline collateral
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Strong coordination with founders, designers, writers, and external partners
Comfortable giving feedback and owning outcomes
High follow‑through and accountability
Commercial & Business Awareness
Understands that brand building must support
business growth
Ability to balance creativity with sales, launches, and retail visibility
Basic understanding of D2C, retail, and marketplace dynamics
Ownership & Leadership Traits
High ownership mindset — treats the brand as their own
Comfortable in a startup environment with ambiguity
Willing to build systems, not wait for them
Decisive and accountable
