Overview The role is responsible for providing comprehensive support across accounts and office administration. This includes managing day-to-day financial transactions, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end closing activities; all statutory & regulatory requirements of running the office.

The position requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, banks, all statutory & legal bodies and internal teams to ensure smooth operational and financial

Accountabilities & Key Deliverables

Accounts - ·

Maintaining day-to-day financial records and updating all expenditure in Excel with supporting documentation. ·

Managing vendor payments through net banking and ensuring timely settlements. ·

Handling petty cash for daily operational expenses with proper reconciliation and maintaining records of forex purchases and utilization for each employee. ·

Keeping record of all expenses and monthly submission to UK HQ via Expense Point ·

Managing relationships with banks and providing daily and monthly bank reconciliation ·

Safeguarding confidential accounting documents and audit-related files. ·

Maintaining all accounting records in Tally System. ·

Assisting the CA firm during yearly and half-yearly audits by providing all required information as part of the audit. ·

Monitoring and filling all GST related business expenditure and maintaining proper records in case of tax authority audits. ·

Handling TDS tracking, submissions, documentation, and payment coordination. ·

Ensuring timely renewal of insurance policies (health, accidents, and travel). ·

Maintaining register/log of office assets and ensuring upkeep and accountability. ·

Coordinate with external travel agency in managing all the travel requirements, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, visas, and forex arrangements when necessary

Payroll- ·

Managing daily attendance and providing reports to payroll company and HQ HR for payroll processing. ·

Following up with payroll company for deposit of employee PF & IT & keeping record of the same.

Essential skills & Qualifications ·

Post graduate degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent ·

7-8 years’ experience working in the trading/ manufacturing sector ·

Knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, expense management, general ledger reconciliation, ability to prepare account such as P&L and balance sheet ·

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently ·

Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs requirements is essential ·

Proficient in MS Office & Tally ERP system is mandatory ·

Full understanding of GST & TDS system ·

Strong attention to detail, organisation, and documentation accuracy ·

Good communication skills with customers, suppliers, banks, and other external partners
