Job Role: Senior SAP FICO Consultant Job Location: Bangalore/Mumbai Work Mode: (WFO/Hybrid)

Role Overview We are looking for a seasoned SAP FICO expert to lead our financial transformation journey from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience, bridging the gap between legacy ECC structures and the new Universal Journal architecture. You will be responsible for the end-to-end migration strategy, system configuration, and post-go-live stabilization and support.

1. Migration Strategy & Execution (ECC to S/4HANA) Be the expert and work with the functional solutions lead for

the migration

planning, including Readiness Checks, Custom Code Analysis, and Simplification Item checks. Manage the functional conversion of

Customer/Vendor masters to Business Partners (CVI) . Execute the migration to the

Universal Journal (ACDOCA) , ensuring data integrity across GL, AA, CO, and ML. Configure

New Asset Accounting , handling technical clearing accounts and parallel valuation areas specific to S/4HANA. Oversee data migration using

SAP LTMC

(Migration Cockpit) and legacy tools like LSMW where applicable.

2. S/4HANA Solution Design & Configuration Configure core Finance modules: New GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, and Fixed Assets. Configure core Controlling modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and

Product Costing (CO-PC) . Implement

Material Ledger

(mandatory in S/4HANA) and configure actual costing. Transition from Costing-based CO-PA to

Account-based CO-PA (Margin Analysis) . Deploy and customize standard

SAP Fiori

apps for Finance to improve user experience.

3. Support, Optimization & Integration Provide

Level 3 support

in the S/4HANA environment, resolving complex critical issues and performing root cause analysis. Manage integration points with Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash. Work closely with ABAP teams to remediate custom code and design RICEFW objects optimized for HANA. Conduct workshops and training for business users to adopt new S/4HANA functionalities.

Required Qualifications Experience:

10-15 years of SAP FICO experience. Project History:

Must have completed at least 3 full lifecycle implementations and minimum 1 end-to-end S/4HANA migration project . Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Engineering. CA/CPA/ICWA/MBA Finance preferred. Certification:

SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting certification is highly desirable.

Technical Skills & Competencies Architecture:

Deep understanding of the HANA database capabilities and the Universal Journal architecture. FSCM:

Experience with SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (Credit, Collections, Dispute Management) within S/4HANA. Treasury & Risk:

Basic knowledge of Treasury Management and Cash Management in S/4HANA is a plus. Reporting:

Familiarity with Analysis for Office (AO) and Fiori Embedded Analytics. Taxation:

Strong knowledge of localization (e.g., GST, VAT, Withholding Tax) and electronic invoicing frameworks (e.g., e-Invoicing) Overall, highly experienced in AR, AP, GL, Asset, Interfaces, COPA, Data Migration and Testing
