Role Summary We are looking to hire a highly accomplished

Project Head

with a strong technical background to lead large-scale renewable energy projects. The role requires complete ownership of end-to-end project execution, ensuring operational excellence, safety, quality, and on-time delivery across solar and wind power projects. This position is ideal for a disciplined leader with proven experience in mission-critical operations, field execution, and multi-location project management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation - Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and budgets. - Review engineering designs, BOQ, drawings, and technical specifications. - Identify project risks and prepare mitigation plans. - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams.

Project Execution & Monitoring - Lead the execution of all project phases to meet timelines and quality standards. - Monitor progress using MSP/Primavera and ensure adherence to baseline schedules. - Conduct regular review meetings with site teams and contractors. - Resolve site bottlenecks and ensure smooth project flow.

Contractor & Resource Management - Finalize work packages, contractor scopes, and resource allocation. - Oversee contractor performance, productivity, and compliance. - Verify work measurements, certifications, and billing.

Quality & Compliance - Ensure adherence to QAP, ITP, and company quality standards. - Conduct quality audits, inspections, and review NCRs with corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with technical specifications and statutory requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) - Enforce HSE standards across site operations. - Ensure site safety plan implementation and regular audits. - Promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and training.

Commercial & Cost Control - Manage project budgets, cash flow, and material consumption. - Identify cost‑saving opportunities and prevent cost overruns. - Support procurement in vendor finalization and technical evaluations.

Client & Stakeholder Management - Act as the single point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities. - Conduct progress review meetings and manage approvals. - Handle escalations and ensure high client satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation - Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and MIS. - Maintain project documentation, contracts, and communication logs. - Support management with dashboards, presentations, and closure reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. - PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred (optional).

Experience - 10–20 years of experience in project management. - Experience in Solar EPC / Industrial / Infrastructure / Power projects.

Technical Skills - Expertise in MS Project or Primavera. - Strong understanding of engineering designs, drawings, and construction practices. - Knowledge of QA/QC standards, contracts, and safety norms. - Strong commercial and project costing knowledge.

Behavioral Skills - Excellent leadership and decision‑making capabilities. - Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams. - High adaptability and problem‑solving mindset.
