Business Analyst - Odoo ERP

Role: The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders and leading the implementation of ERP systems using Odoo. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance the functionality of ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing Odoo for CPG/FMCG clients.

Key Responsibilities: Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and research. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and proposals based on gathered requirements. Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, use cases, and process flow diagrams using BPMN or other suitable methodologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop new business models and identify necessary process changes to streamline critical workstreams and improve efficiency. Identify unknown business needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address and fulfil them. Lead the implementation of ERP systems using Odoo, including discovery, design, build, test, and data management phases. Define and document the “as-is” and “to-be” core business processes and clearly define the end-to-end business journeys. Design and implement innovative solutions to address business challenges and enhance the functionality of ERP systems. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of ERP implementations. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth transitions and maximize utilization of ERP systems.

Preferred: 1+ years working experience with Odoo ERP. Previous experience as a business analyst working on ERP implementation for CPG/FMCG, with experience in the following areas: Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing. Experience working with ERP and WMS (or similar) systems, ideally including the discovery, design, build, and test phases as part of an implementation. Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Notion, Jira, or Asana. Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or experience creating flow diagrams. Malayalam language skills are preferred but not mandatory.
