Manager – R2R . Reporting to the
Senior Manager , this full-time and permanent position is based in
Mumbai, India
and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our
Finance
and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
Participate in the monthly close, including overseeing or posting journals, preparation of clear and well-documented records in particular of the balance sheet and delivering high quality auditable balance sheet packs to the Financial Controller
Oversight of accounting processes in compliance with global and local timelines
Operation of key financial controls (reconciliations, follow ups with operational teams, preparation of supporting evidence) for accounting and in particular balance sheet outputs
Analysis and investigations of accounting records as appropriate to support the needs of the Financial Controller, Group / FP&A teams or country management
Delivery of reporting and information to support operational leaders and FP&A teams, such as analysis of costs and revenues or guidance on billable revenue positions
Assistance in the completion of relevant domestic tax filing obligations (Dutch VAT & CIT), filings related to government required tax accounting disclosures
Handling of payment, treasury and banking matters where delegated by the Financial Controller
Preparation of financial statements for 20+ entities as per Dutch GAAP
Assist in the planning and execution of applicable entities statutory audits, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations
Conduct detailed analyses of financial data and prepare working papers to support statutory audit conclusions
Assists in the gathering of data necessary for corporate tax audits conducted by governmental tax units, data used in the tax compliance process
Key requirements:
Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
Qualified Chartered Accountant (5+ years)
Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting documentation, including an audit background
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently
Experience in Shared Services environment will be an added advantage
SAP S/4 HANA knowledge will be an added advantage
