Job Title: Cloud Migration Engineer Looking for a skilled Cloud Migration Specialist to plan, execute, and manage the migration of applications, data, and infrastructure from on-premises or legacy environments to the cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud platforms and hands-on experience in designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud migration solutions. Key Responsibilities · Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into · scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS and Azure. · Assess existing on-premises applications and infrastructure for cloud readiness · Define cloud migration strategies (re-hosting, re-platforming, re-factoring, etc.) · Plan and execute end-to-end cloud migration activities with minimal downtime · Design target cloud architecture aligned with security, scalability, and performance requirements · Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams · Perform data migration, validation, and post-migration optimization · Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards · Troubleshoot migration issues and provide post-migration support · Optimize cloud costs and performance after migration · Create and maintain migration documentation and runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications · 4–10 years of IT experience, with at least 2–5 years in cloud migration projects · Strong hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP · Experience with cloud migration tools (AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, Google Migrate, etc.) · Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and security concepts · Experience migrating applications (VMs, databases, and workloads) to the cloud · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication and documentation skills · Strategic Thinking - Ability to design comprehensive migration approaches · Technical Adaptability - Quick learning and application of emerging cloud technologies
