Architect Engineer - Oil & Gas / Chemical

We are seeking an experienced Architect with a strong background in Oil & Gas / Industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for architectural design, planning, and coordination for onshore/offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Location- Chennai & Vadodara (For 6 months You will be deputed to UAE )

Key Responsibilities:

Develop architectural design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for oil & gas facilities such as control rooms, substations, technical buildings, admin buildings, and industrial structures.

Prepare architectural drawings including GA drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.

Coordinate with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping teams for interdisciplinary integration.

Ensure compliance with international standards and codes such as:

American Petroleum Institute (API)

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

Local and client-specific standards.

Review vendor drawings and provide technical inputs.

Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and HAZOP discussions.

Ensure constructability and compliance with safety requirements.

Support site queries and provide technical clarifications during construction phase.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch).

Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects.

Experience working with EPC companies preferred.

Strong knowledge of industrial building design and safety regulations.

Proficiency in:

AutoCAD

Revit (preferred)

BIM coordination

Knowledge of blast-resistant building design will be an added advantage.
