ETL Consultant

Should have:

2–3 years of hands-on ETL development including pipeline design, orchestration, and debugging. Strong SQL expertise with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and implement transformation logic. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as fact/dimension design, SCD1/SCD2, surrogate keys, and data partitioning. Demonstrated ability to analyze business rules, interpret mapping documents, and convert requirements into scalable ETL logic. Experience in production support and incident resolution, including error handling, root-cause analysis, and meeting data refresh SLAs. Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines for ETL code deployment, version control, and development best practices.

Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills, including requirement clarification, documentation, and delivering demos. High learning agility, with willingness to adopt new tools (Python, Databricks, API ingestion, Delta Lake) and continuously expand data engineering skills.
