Position Overview
Krasan Consulting is seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Internal IT Manager based in India to lead and mature our internal technology operations. This role will be responsible for building scalable IT processes, developing an enterprise-wide IT roadmap, overseeing security and compliance initiatives, managing licensing and infrastructure, and ensuring our rapidly growing organization has the strong and scalable internal IT foundation needed to support global operations.
This individual will serve as the escalation point for internal IT issues, supervise IT support personnel, and collaborate with teams across India and the U.S. to build a resilient, secure, and efficient internal technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Internal IT Roadmap aligned with company growth and operational needs.
- Review current and future technology requirements and propose scalable solutions.
- Assess infrastructure needs and recommend upgrades, optimizations, and system improvements.
Design and manage internal IT projects, including portal development and tools procurement, to enable operational teams to streamline workflows and improve performance.
Network infrastructure planning, establishment and and scalability as part of the roadmap (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, cloud connectivity, closing the organization network etc.)
2. Licensing, Systems & Process Management
- Review and evaluate current software licensing usage and needs (Microsoft, O365, Adobe, Zoom, etc.).
- Develop a forward-looking licensing plan that aligns with projected headcount growth.
- Create and refine internal IT policies, SOPs, and documentation.
- Oversee implementation and management of Active Directory, organizational and user groups, communication lists and other resources
3. SharePoint Administration & Governance
- Manage the companyโs SharePoint instance and internal SharePoint sites.
- Provide governance, structure, and continuous improvement of document storage and collaboration workflows.
- Train teams on correct and effective use of SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 tools.
4. Security, Compliance & Cyber Readiness
- Evaluate existing security practices and identify opportunities to enhance cybersecurity posture.
- Lead rollout of security improvements and cyber training across the organization.
- Recommend and implement best practices in identity management, MFA, password policies, endpoint security, and data protection.
Network and Cyber security management (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, secure Wi-Fi, endpoint monitoring).
5. Internal IT Support & Escalation
- Serve as the final escalation point for internal IT issues across India and the U.S.
- Oversee ticket triage, response times, and service quality.
Network troubleshooting and uptime monitoring
- Supervise and mentor internal IT staff, including those responsible for laptop deployment.
- Ensure timely provisioning and de-provisioning of systems and equipment.
6. Training & Organizational Support
- Provide training on SharePoint, IT security best practices, internal tools, systems, and processes.
- Promote IT awareness and ensure consistent adoption of best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, system administration, or internal IT management.
- Hands-on experience establishing and administering Microsoft 365 , SharePoint , Active Directory, Azure cloud environment and other cloud based tools and solutions.
Hands on experience with enterprise networking and security- Strong understanding of endpoint security, identity and access management, and IT compliance principles.
-Experience in IT project management and vendor/tool evaluation
- Experience managing or mentoring technical staff.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a fast-growing or multi-location company.
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, or security-related credentials.
CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking/security credentials
- Experience creating IT SOPs and scalable processes.
