Purpose of the Position

Responsibility for EV Upperbody(HUT)-DMU and PMU Expert functions.

1. Spearhead the end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of digital mockup (DMU) activities for the EV upper body (HUT) domain across all program phases. 2. Ensure geometric compatibility and spatial integration of HUT systems with adjacent domains such as BIW, Interior, Trim, Electrical, and Powertrain, through DMU and Kinematic simulations. 3. Execute detailed virtual packaging, clash analysis, and clearance validations using industry-standard DMU tools and ensure design maturity at each digital milestone. 4. Oversee the collection and management of key data (HDBT) and drive high-fidelity virtual product development (VPE) to support digital and physical convergence. 5. Validate upper body integration via PMU (Physical Mockup) correlation and ensure alignment of digital intent with physical execution. 6. Prepare and lead cross-functional reviews, delivering milestone reports, risk assessments, and status dashboards related to upper body digital integration. 7. Author and distribute geoGFF (Geometric Whole Vehicle Approvals) and lead packaging negotiations across domains. 8. Conduct and log space analyses and interface evaluations between HUT and critical platform zones to ensure architecture compliance and occupant safety.

Authority

1. Authorized to issue daily reports, integration risk logs, project MoMs, and milestone documentation. 2. Empowered to perform independent reviews of HUT data in systems such as ZMB, Connect, and escalate integration issues to responsible engineering and design teams. 3. Accountable for ensuring on-time delivery of digital maturity gates, and for initiating corrective actions to avoid delays in program schedules. 4. Full authority to conduct and validate DMU results through software tools and physical verification during PMU activities. 5. Lead and support the Data Control Check (DCC) planning and execution, ensuring all required elements for digital and physical builds are aligned.

- Good in Communication Skill & MS office - Know-how of system like Connect, KVS, CATIA and ZMB - DMU Technique, Vehicle integration & Virtual Product Development knowledge - Presentation Skills for top management reports - Know-how of EV Architecture, Change management process. - Accounting, Negotiation Skills, Soft Skills, interpersonal skills - VRED – Virtual reality software

Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Perform DMU check for each virtual stage of project for all required variants. 2. Creating PMU plan and conducting PMU activity. Monitoring PMU issues and conducting CFT to resolve issue. 3. Prepare DMU and PMU issue reports & regularly report progress to HoD`s including decisions & impact to project timeline. 4. Perform data preparation and support to conduct digital customer check (DCC) 5. Ready to work on special projects, as & when needed, in whole development competencies. 6. Co-ordinate and close decisions of committees from Whole Vehicle department point of view. Represent Whole Vehicle in all these committees, Follow up & close topics 7. Evaluation of issue reports from system ZMB and connect. 8. Monitoring component integration in whole vehicle (coordination with DMU process) for projects MQB and CMP21D 9. Maintain data in system & adhere to protocol, defined rules & process. Make new ISO documents, update processes and guidelines for new projects. Ensure compliance for all activities within area/ project 10. Create daily reports, MoM, Project status etc. Ensures qualified work with very complicated technology and organizational demands in digital mockup to ensure quality data into system 11. Support other projects and activities within EG, based on tasks and project loads.
