Role Overview:
Battery Smart is looking for a AGM/GM – Marketing to lead brand, growth, and customer acquisition initiatives across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on AI-led marketing transformation and scalable growth systems.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end marketing charter —from strategy and positioning to performance marketing, content, creative, offline branding, and city-level GTM execution.
The role requires strong business acumen, data orientation, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Marketing Strategy & Business Alignment
• Define and drive the overall marketing strategy aligned with company growth and revenue objectives
• Own brand positioning, messaging architecture, and market expansion strategy across cities
• Translate business OKRs into structured marketing roadmaps and measurable growth plans
• Lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly performance reviews
2.Growth & Performance Marketing
• Drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies across digital and offline channels
• Optimize CAC, LTV, funnel conversion, and retention metrics through structured experimentation
• Scale performance marketing across paid media, partnerships, and growth channels
• Build strong attribution frameworks and ROI-driven campaign models
3.AI-Led Marketing & Automation
• Integrate AI tools into content creation, campaign optimization, audience targeting, and reporting workflows
• Build automated marketing funnels and lead nurturing systems
• Leverage predictive analytics and data modeling to improve decision-making
• Identify scalable AI use cases that drive cost efficiency and performance gains
4.Brand, Content & Creative Leadership
• Lead development of high-impact brand campaigns, ad films, digital creatives, and storytelling initiatives
• Build a strong, differentiated brand narrative in the EV ecosystem
• Ensure consistency in brand voice across social media, offline touchpoints, and city branding
• Manage agencies, creative partners, and production teams
5.Offline Marketing & City-Level GTM
• Design and execute hyperlocal marketing strategies to strengthen city-level presence
• Drive on-ground activations, partnerships, trade marketing, and OOH campaigns
• Collaborate with operations and city teams to execute localized growth initiatives
• Ensure strong brand visibility across swap stations and partner network
6.Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across brand, content, and performance
• Work closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to drive business outcomes
• Establish structured dashboards and reporting systems for brand and growth metrics
• Drive a culture of accountability, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making
Qualifications & Skills:
• 5–8 years of experience in marketing, including leadership roles in brand and growth
• Strong exposure to performance marketing, digital strategy, and customer acquisition
• Proven experience in leveraging AI tools for marketing automation and optimization
• Experience managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on approach to execution
• Prior experience in high-growth startups, EV, mobility, fintech, or tech-enabled businesses preferred
• MBA (Tier 1/Tier 2)
