Job Description As a Data Scientist - Feasibility Advisor for AI, you will be the crucial link between our business ambitions and our technical capabilities in AI and Data Science. You will be responsible for evaluating the viability of new ideas, ensuring that we invest in data-driven use cases that are both impactful and technically sound. Your expertise will shape the future of our AI initiatives, guiding our strategy and enabling teams to turn innovative concepts into reality.

Your Responsibilities: Assess the technical feasibility of proposed AI and data science use cases by evaluating data availability, quality, and readiness. Provide rigorous technical validation for new initiatives before they are handed over to development squads for implementation. Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, including data science, IT, and engineering, to effectively scope and define solutions. Translate complex business problems into clear and actionable technical opportunities, helping our partners understand what’s possible with AI. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on feasibility assessments to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Guide business partners on the potential of AI, shaping the ideation process and ensuring alignment with our technical strategy.

Required key competencies and qualifications: Strong background in data science, machine learning, or a related analytics field. Proven experience in assessing the feasibility of data-driven projects, including evaluating data readiness and model-fit for business problems. In-depth knowledge of modern AI platforms and services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Python and its core data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Ability to simplify and articulate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders to facilitate clear decision-making. A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and shaping the application of AI to solve real-world business challenges. Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation. Familiarity with the wholesale/retail domain is a plus. Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
