Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Principal AI/ML engineer with a strong background in backend development, machine learning, and AI/GenAI. In this key role you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, architect and implement robust backend systems, and help bring innovative GenAI capabilities to Oracle Cloud customers. Your expertise will ensure the security, scalability, and performance of our systems, driving OCI’s mission to deliver intelligent cloud experiences.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, training, and deployment of next‑generation GenAI Platform.

- Develop and implement AI systems that enhance service value proposition, operational efficiency, and strategic decision‑making.

- Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and business leaders to integrate machine learning and deep learning models into existing systems.

- Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and impactful, leveraging large datasets and generative AI.

- Contribute to critical AI infrastructure powering Oracle’s GenAI and ML initiatives.

Qualifications

- Exceptional proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java) and expertise in data processing tools (Pandas, NumPy).

- In‑depth knowledge of cutting‑edge AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI, RAG architecture, Langchain, and Llamaindex.

- Strong background in backend development, machine learning, and AI/GenAI.

- Experience designing, developing, training, and implementing machine learning and deep learning models capable of processing large datasets and generating actionable insights.

- Collaborated effectively with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems.
