Experience Required:
3-6 years in e-commerce merchandising
Salary:
up to 7.2LPA
Key responsibilities:
Purchase & Procurement Management
Lead end-to-end purchase planning based on demand forecasting and sales trends.
Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement and cost efficiency.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and payment terms with domestic and China-based suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Ensure procurement aligns with business requirements and inventory levels.
Vendor & Supplier Management (China Sourcing)
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers from China.
Manage existing supplier relationships and resolve operational issues.
Coordinate with freight, logistics, and import partners for smooth shipment processing.
Track shipment status, customs clearance, and delivery timelines.
Ensure product quality, compliance, and timely replenishment.
Inventory Management & Planning
Monitor stock levels across warehouses and marketplaces.
Plan inventory replenishment to avoid stock-outs and overstock situations.
Analyze sales trends and optimize inventory turnover.
Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile discrepancies.
Work closely with operations to streamline inventory workflows.
Marketplace & Catalogue Operations
Oversee product listings, catalogue updates, and listing accuracy across platforms.
Ensure product details, images, and pricing are optimized and consistent.
Monitor listing health, errors, and compliance issues.
Support landing page optimization and product discoverability improvements.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review key reports including:
Order Summary Report
LDR (Low Dispatch Rate) Report
Returns Report
Inventory Aging Report
P&L Report (Product/Category-wise profitability)
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, operations, and supply teams.
Support promotional planning with stock and pricing strategies.
Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
3-6 years of experience in merchandising, procurement, or supply chain.
Strong experience in
purchase management and inventory planning.
Proven experience in
sourcing from China
and supplier negotiations.
Hands-on experience with Amazon, Nykaa, Meesho, and D2C platforms.
Strong Excel skills for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
Knowledge of import processes, logistics, and vendor coordination.
Understanding of marketplace algorithms and trends.
