Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Data / Generative AI Engineers to build and deploy production-grade AI solutions. The role focuses on designing scalable Generative AI systems, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and developing AI-powered applications using modern cloud and data engineering practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in LLM integrations, AWS serverless architecture, and data engineering, with the ability to independently build reliable AI-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI Development

- Design and develop production-ready Generative AI applications using modern foundation models - Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines with vector databases - Develop AI agents and multi-agent orchestration systems using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex - Implement conversational AI systems with context management and intent understanding - Apply prompt engineering, few-shot learning, and domain-specific optimization techniques

Cloud & Backend Development

- Build serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge - Develop scalable REST APIs for AI-driven services and real-time interactions - Configure and manage AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch - Implement infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform

Data Engineering & ML Operations

- Design data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources - Build ETL/ELT workflows for data preparation and transformation - Implement semantic search and vector embeddings for knowledge retrieval - Monitor data quality, observability, and model performance - Optimize inference performance, latency, and cost efficiency

Required Technical Skills

Core Skills

- Strong Python development experience (modern Python, async programming, testing frameworks) - Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and Generative AI APIs - Experience with vector databases such as Weaviate, Pinecone, OpenSearch, Chroma, or FAISS - Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or agent orchestration frameworks - Expertise in AWS serverless development (Lambda, API Gateway) - Experience building RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask

Additional Valuable Skills

- AWS Step Functions and workflow orchestration - DynamoDB data modeling and optimization - Docker and containerized AI workloads - Data processing using Pandas, PySpark, or AWS Glue

Nice to Have

- Experience with RAG architecture design and optimization - Knowledge of embedding models and semantic search - CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline) - Observability and monitoring for AI systems - Familiarity with SageMaker or OpenSearch

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of software engineering experience - 2+ years of AWS cloud experience with production deployments - 1+ year of hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agents) - Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, version control, documentation) - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Ability to work independently and deliver scalable technical solutions - Experience in client coordination - Excellent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Machine Learning Specialty) - Experience building AI-powered SaaS platforms or data-driven applications - Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for AI workloads - Familiarity with frontend technologies for AI-powered interfaces
