Role Description We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Purchase - MRO for a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata. The role involves handling procurement activities for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO), vendor management, negotiating contracts, sourcing reliable suppliers, and managing inventory levels. The Assistant Manager will also analyze cost-saving opportunities, monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time supply, and ensure compliance with all procurement policies and quality standards.

Qualifications Proficiency in procurement management processes, vendor sourcing, and negotiating supplier agreements Experience in inventory management and cost optimization strategies Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) requirements and related products Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a strong advantage Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
