Project Head / Project Expert

Location: Bengaluru (with domestic & international travel) Department: EPC Projects – Turnkey Food Factory & Cold Chain Experience: 15+ Years Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech – Civil / Mechanical / Electrical

Position Overview:

Rinac is seeking an experienced Project Head / Project Expert to lead end-to-end execution of industrial/manufacturing facility projects in India and abroad. The role requires strong technical depth, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and a proven record in delivering complex EPC projects with speed, quality, cost efficiency, and control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Project Management Manage complete lifecycle: concept, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Prepare execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource deployment.

2. Industrial Project Expertise Handle greenfield/brownfield facilities in food processing, FMCG, engineering, or similar. Guide layouts, utilities, equipment installation, and statutory compliance.

3. Leadership & Coordination Lead Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC/Refrigeration, Architecture, QC, and Procurement teams. Ensure timely drawings, BOQs, specs, and technical approvals. Lead multiple project teams across locations via reviews and site visits.

4. Project Controls & Reporting Track schedules (MS Projects/Primavera), identify deviations, implement corrective and risk-mitigation actions. Prepare MIS, dashboards, and client reports.

5. Cost, Budget & Contracts Prepare budgets, cash flows, billing plans. Optimize site costs and margins. Support vendor evaluation, negotiations, and contract finalization.

6. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of Civil, MEP, Utilities, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Fire Safety. Review drawings, QA/QC plans, safety protocols, and offer value-engineering solutions.

7. Risk, Quality & Compliance Conduct risk assessments, resolve bottlenecks, ensure compliance with codes/standards, and drive zero-incident safety culture.

8. Value Engineering & Due Diligence Lead feasibility studies, site evaluations, and recommend optimized design/engineering solutions.

Required Skills

Ability to lead multiple industrial projects, strong grasp of civil & MEP systems, excellent stakeholder management, analytical and cost/schedule control skills. Proficient in MS Projects, Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Office; exposure to design coordination tools.

Preferred Experience

EPC/turnkey industrial projects; food/engineering factories; international exposure (Africa/Middle East/South Asia); modular construction, prefabrication, cleanroom/food-grade facilities.
