Chartered Accountant with 10–15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Life Insurance financials/regulatory reporting or IFRS 17 implementation in Big 4. Strong knowledge of IND AS, accounting standards, and IRDAI regulations. Responsible for driving the IND AS 117 program, including running the SteerCo, weekly leadership updates, and managing the Project Management Office. Track project progress, coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, actuarial, technology), and ensure timely execution as per the agreed plan. Prepare IND AS 117 proforma financials for regulatory requirements and participate in industry working groups. Conduct leadership sessions and support capability building across teams on IND AS 117. Review UAT outputs, test cases, and provide sign-offs while identifying process gaps and recommending improvements. Analyze data flows, controls, and validations across systems (premium, claims, commissions) to ensure accuracy and completeness. Benchmark peer company approaches and support presentations for SteerCo, parent companies, and industry forums. Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and drive solutions in large-scale IND AS implementation projects.
