Job Description
Weโre looking for an Engineering Manager who can balance people leadership with strong technical judgment. This role is about building high-performing engineering teams, driving execution, and ensuring systems are designed to scale-without losing speed or quality. Youโll work closely with product, design, and leadership to turn roadmaps into reliable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through clear goals and regular feedback
Own delivery timelines, execution quality, and engineering standards
Partner with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical plans
Review system designs, architecture decisions, and critical code paths
Drive best practices across code quality, testing, security, and documentation
Identify bottlenecks in execution and improve engineering processes
Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical health
Hire, onboard, and retain strong engineering talent
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2โ3 years in a leadership role
Strong hands-on background in backend, frontend, or full-stack development
Experience designing and scaling distributed systems
Ability to review code and guide architectural decisions confidently
Experience working in agile / fast-moving product environments
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good to Have
Experience managing teams in startup or scale-up environments
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and DevOps practices
Prior experience working with data-heavy or AI-driven products
Understanding of performance optimization and system reliability
