Data Governance Manager

Position:

Senior Data Governance Developer (Alation developer / Collibra developer) – Remote Location: Remote

Role Summary: We are looking for an Alation Developer to build, integrate, and support enterprise data catalog and metadata management solutions using the Alation platform.

Responsibilities: Develop and support metadata ingestion using Alation APIs and OCF connectors. Integrate Alation with databases, ETL tools, and BI platforms Configure custom fields, templates, and governance workflows Enable data lineage, stewardship, and certification Support platform upgrades, cloud migration, and troubleshooting.

Requirements: Hands-on experience with Alation development and configuration Strong experience with Python, SQL, and REST API skills Understanding of data catalog, metadata, and data governance concepts Experience with cloud data platforms is a plus
