Job Summary
The Accounts Executive will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry, reconciliations, documentation, and basic financial reporting for select entities within the Saboo RKS Group. This role supports the Head/Manager – Group Accounts, Finance & BI by maintaining clean accounting records, ensuring accurate ledgers, preparing schedules, and assisting in the monthly closing process.
This position is execution-focused and detail-oriented, requiring consistency, accuracy, and disciplined follow-up. The Accounts Executive ensures that all foundational accounting data is reliable so that Group-level reporting, MIS, and financial statements are accurate.
Roles & Responsibilities
A. Accounting, Bookkeeping & Data Entry
Record day-to-day accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.
Maintain ledgers, journals, and supporting schedules as per Group standards.
Assist in preparing entity-level financial statements by maintaining accurate records.
B. Reconciliations & Accounting Hygiene
Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer reconciliations, and inter-company reconciliations.
Track advances, deposits, and outstanding payables/receivables.
Identify and correct mismatches, discrepancies, and unposted items.
Maintain clean and updated accounting ledgers across assigned entities.
C. Documentation, Filing & Records Management
Maintain proper records of invoices, supporting documents, agreements, and statements.
Ensure all documentation is filed systematically and is easily retrievable.
Support digitisation of accounting records where required.
Assist in maintaining documentation required for audits.
D. Statutory Compliance Support
Prepare basic workings related to TDS, GST, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with the Manager or external teams wherever compliance inputs are needed.
Ensure that accounting entries reflect statutory impacts accurately.
E. Audit Support
Assist in resolving audit queries by providing data and explanations.
Work with the Manager to ensure accounts are audit-ready.
F. Cross-Functional Support & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Operations, Admin) for accounting inputs.
Follow up with vendors, customers, banks, and internal stakeholders for documents and clarifications.
Step in wherever basic accounting or documentation support is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background
B.Com / M.Com required
Additional certifications in accounting (Tally, Excel, GST, etc.) preferred.
Work Experience
1–4 years in accounting or bookkeeping roles
Experience in multi-entity environments is an advantage
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Good command of Excel / Google Sheets
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
Ability to maintain accurate records and schedules
