Role & responsibilities
Looking for a 4 to 6 year experienced Brand Strategist with research experience in decoding cultural insights and using that data to work directly with the Business Director on branding, packaging, semiotics, naming, and retail presence.
Map the visual and cultural codes of competing fragrance and grooming brands in India
Help build the brands colour, typography, and packaging logic
Support bottle design, label structure, and SKU hierarchy
Work on naming, storytelling, and product positioning
Support retail display and shelf strategy for offline stores
Collaborate with designers, vendors, and external agencies
Help build a long-term brand identity system from scratch
Preferred candidate profile
4 to 6 years experience in brand strategy, design strategy, or packaging-led roles
Experience at a branding/design agency, FMCG brand team, or packaging studio preferred
Strong visual literacy and understanding of consumer perception
Ability to move from insight → execution quickly
Comfortable working closely with a founder in a fast-moving Business verticle
Curious about culture, retail behaviour, and how brands signal value
Preferred skills: Semiotics, qualitative research, trend decoding, cultural pattern recognition, cognitive framing, heuristic engineering, Moral framing
