- JOB PURPOSE :

- To monitor O&M activities in a shift and co-ordination with Internal / External stakeholders for smooth O&M functions. - To ensure smooth operations in a shift – Import, Export and Dispatches by co-ordination with MCR, CCR, Jetty Operation Team, Stockyard Team, Area In-charge, Maintenance Team and Client representatives. - To ensure proper accounting of cargo discharged, delivered though conveyor / by road, limit cargo delivery up to Delivery order / Customs Out of Charge. - To ensure optimum resources utilisation, allocation and proper recording keeping of equipment utilization, stoppages, power / fuel consumed. - To minimize down time of mechanised system / equipment by timely maintenance and attending breakdown / repair of the mechanised system in a shift.

Routine functioning:

To ensure smooth operation of mechanised system.

- Co-ordination with MCR, CCR, Jetty Operation Team, Stockyard Team, Area In-charge, Maintenance Team and Client representatives for smooth operations of mechanised system and cargo handling. - Allocation and optimum resources utilisation and proper recording keeping of equipment utilization, stoppages, power / fuel consumed. - Co-ordination with concerned area in-charge and execute routine maintenance during non-operational hours. - Minimize down time of mechanised system / equipment by timely maintenance and attending breakdown / repair of the mechanised system in a shift.

Regulatory:

To ensure cargo stacking in designated stockyard / plot and limit cargo delivery up to Delivery Order / Customs OOC.

- Ensure cargo stacking in designated clear plot, co-ordinate with client for the same. - Monitor and ensure dust free cargo stacking / reclaiming operations, Operate DSS System & water sprinkling as per GPCB compliance. - Ensure cargo delivery up to Delivery order / Customs Out of Charge.

Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation of all activities in its prescribed formats

- Strict compliance of Coal Handling SoP for all clients. - Co-ordination with Clients and CRE for Cargo Delivery Orders, Customs Out of Charge. - Vessel Operation Analysis report. - Equipment utilization report. - Immediate reporting to Superior including CEO for any incident / accident happen in the Terminal. - Maintenance Reports – Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Notification, Preliminary Incident report etc.

- KEY CHALLENGES - To ensure "smooth functioning" of all routine activities of the department. - KEY DECISIONS: - Made by Jobholder: - Timely completion of all regulatory requirements and documentation of the same. - Recommendations to superior: - To highlights any major abnormality in equipment parameters / operations and timely submission of records / reports. - Immediate reporting to Superiors for any incident in entire Terminal. - INTERACTIONS: - Internal Interactions :

- Daily interaction with Area In-charge, CRE & Cargo Documentation Manager. - DIMENSIONS: - Major Dimension

Overall smooth operations and enhancement of best O&M practices in plant.

Developments of new ideas and exploring the possibilities of the same for its implementation.

- SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE - Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed College / Institute.

- Total Years of Experience / Relevant Experience:

7-8 years total experience, minimum 4-6 years relevant experience. Mechanical Maintenance experience is must.

- Functional Skills:

- Fundamental knowledge in Mechanical Engineering - Very good communication skill in Hindi & English. - Mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment / bulk cargo handling system. - Behavioural Skills:

- Positive attitude - Effective communication skill.
