Software Test Lead

About the Role: The Quality Assurance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves defining testing strategies, managing QA processes, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product standards and customer satisfaction. Experience in understanding business requirements and design. Ability to take initiative to communicate, interact, and collaborate with other to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed. Keep track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned task as per the defined quality standards – Optimize pace and meet deadlines Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and provide performance feedback. Quality Assurance Strategy Develop and implement QA processes, methodologies, and tools. Define test plans, test cases, and automation strategies. Testing & Validation Oversee functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects. Collaboration Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams. Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input during design phases. Reporting & Documentation Prepare QA metrics and reports for stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes and test results.

Required Skills & Qualifications BCA, B. Tech / MCA and Graduate in Computer Science 10+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
