Job Description
About Mindbowser
Mindbowser is a global technology services and product engineering company that helps startups and enterprises design, build, and scale digital products. With deep expertise across healthcare, fintech, SaaS, and AI-driven platforms, we work as long-term product partners for our clients—not just vendors.
Our teams collaborate closely with fast-growing, innovation-led companies in the US and other global markets, often embedding with client engineering and product teams to drive execution, quality, and scale. We value ownership, clarity of thought, and a strong bias toward action.
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join Mindbowser and work closely with one of our US-based healthcare technology clients. This role acts as the operational backbone of a ~20-person engineering organization, supporting senior engineering leadership and ensuring smooth execution across teams.
This is not a traditional Scrum Master or Agile Coach role. Instead, it is a highly hands-on, execution-focused position for someone who ensures that engineering operations run like a well-oiled machine—sprints are planned and tracked accurately, tools reflect reality, documentation stays current, and nothing falls through the cracks.
You will work across engineering, product, DevOps, and customer-facing teams, helping maintain visibility, coordination, and accountability in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll also be expected to roll up your sleeves—whether that’s updating a runbook, coordinating a release dependency, or simply getting things done because they need to be done.
What You’ll Do
Sprint & Project Coordination
Ensure Jira work items are accurate, current, and aligned with actual engineering work.
Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and reviews.
Ensure engineering ceremonies are documented, actionable, and outcome-driven.
Change & Release Management
Coordinate downstream updates when work ships—documentation, runbooks, release notes, Confluence pages, service catalogs, etc.
Work with SMEs across engineering, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to keep systems and documentation in sync.
Process Stewardship
Maintain and continuously improve SDLC and CI/CD processes.
Identify gaps, propose improvements, and help establish frameworks where processes are still evolving.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a connector across Engineering, Product Management, Product Operations, DevOps, and Customer Success.
Support mobile app release processes and other operational workflows when applicable
Maintain high visibility with client leadership and Mindbowser stakeholders.
Meeting & Ceremony Enablement
Ensure standups, planning sessions, demos, and reviews happen on time—even when senior leaders are unavailable.
Track follow-ups, decisions, and action items to completion.
Tooling, Automation & AI Enablement
Drive efficiency through better use of tooling (Atlassian suite, GitHub, cloud platforms).
Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows for coordination, documentation, and automation.
Contribute to initiatives like CI workflow improvements, dependency management, or reducing operational overhead.
What We’re Looking For
Mid-career professional with 8+ years experience in engineering operations, technical program management, or technical project coordination.
Strong technical fluency—comfortable navigating GitHub, reviewing PRs, understanding CI/CD pipelines, and working in Jira & Confluence.
You don’t need to write production code, but you must understand how engineering teams work.
Excellent written and verbal English communication, with confidence working with US-based stakeholders.
Flexibility to work overlapping hours with US Eastern Time (upto noon) for key meetings.
Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-powered automation, LLM-assisted workflows).
Startup mindset:
Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and energized by building processes rather than just following them.
Nice to Have
Experience with mobile app release workflows (iOS App Store Connect, Google Play Console).
Familiarity with GCP or other cloud platforms.
Exposure to healthcare technology or regulated industries.
Experience setting up or improving SDLC / CI-CD processes from scratch.
Additional Information
Flexible working hours
5 days working (Monday -Friday)
